Gus is 4!
Gus turned four on Saturday. I’m a bad parent this year for taking five days to post about it. I think he had a good birthday. We went for a walk in the morning and then had a lazy day — his favorite!
Gus received two presents for his birthday. The first one is a bully stick holder. David thinks Gus doesn’t know how to eat things slowly or use his paws to hold things. I’m not sure the bully stick holder solved anything. Gus just seemed annoyed.
We also gave Gus a toy. It’s made of firehose with squeakers inside but no stuffing. Gus lost his stuffed toy privileges after he started destroying and eating his toys. We tolerate destruction, but not eating them. Gus didn’t seem interested in his new toy.
The best thing Gus received, in his opinion, was his birthday cake. He was so excited and even wore his birthday hat and posed for a picture!
No birthday cake is complete without some vanilla Blue Bell ice cream too!
We can’t believe Gus is 4 already. We love him a lot and are so happy he’s part of the family!
