Gus eats horse poop now

Yesterday we took Kat and Gus for another hike. Most of the trails are also trails for horse riding. About halfway through the hike, Gus decided to sample every pile of horse poop he found. So disgusting. He kept David on his toes the rest of the hike as David tried to keep him from the piles.

We traveled a little over 3 miles and neither pup wanted to get back in the pickup when it was time to leave.

After our hike, we decided to go to Dairy Queen for some ice cream. Our DQ gives out pup cups, so it’s the best ice cream spot around.

Gus couldn’t wait to eat his pup cup. He was not very patient as David drove out of the drive thru to park.

Once we got parked, Kat and Gus were both excited to eat their cups.

Apparently one pup cup was not enough for Gus because he tried to steal my twist cone! Sadly (for him), I refused to share.

It was another successful outing for the whole family. We are really enjoying our lovely January weather!
