We had some visitors!

Last weekend, Mom and Dad came down to visit and Lakyn came along too! We had a really good time.  Right away, Lakyn set up her grocery store in the family room and Gus got to work being the cashier.

Lakyn also helped me make pancakes for breakfast. She told me that it was fun to make pancakes and that her mom never lets her help cook. Her mom disagreed with this statement, but I think we all know who’s the more reliable source!

It was a pretty rainy weekend, so to fill the time, we took a trip to Build A Bear. Lakyn had a gift card to spend. I don’t think she was really into the whole thing, but we did use up her card.

Eventually the rain cleared and we got to go to the park. We did some swinging. 

And some spinning! 

Last but not least, we had some pool time. It was not very warm, but it was okay for feet soaking. 

Eventually, she jumped into the pool, but what was really fun, was swimming in the hot tub!

Lakyn also helped me put Kat and Gus in their kennels and decided that she wanted to try dog treats too. Luckily I had some peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets, which are delicious treats for people AND dogs. Everyone lined up for a snack. 

It was a fun and busy weekend!
