Happy 3rd birthday Gus!

Gus turned 3 on Friday. We celebrated by taking him for his first vacation - to Steamboat Springs, Colorado! We left on Thursday and drove to Lubbock, so Gus had his first hotel stay. He woke up on his birthday to discovery the most scary thing - an elevator! He did not appreciate being forced to get on it.

We forgot to pick up his cake in Texas, so we got one from a bakery in Denver. It looked very cute. 

Finally after a long day of driving, we arrived in Steamboat. We met Mom, Dad, Kari, Joe, Kasyn, and Lakyn there. The girls were really excited to celebrate Gus’s birthday. 

Gus was very excited about his cake (although so was Kat as she was trying to sneak a lick while we took the picture)! 

Gus got a raccoon for his birthday. He seemed to like it.
