New landscaping

The landscaping at our new house has bugged me since we moved in. It was overgrown, I didn’t like any of the plants, and the beds were full of weeds. We finally had it redone this week and expanded the landscaping to wrap around the side of the house to the fence. 

Here’s a picture of the wall going up. 

The wall is done extra well because Gus supervised it closely. 

Yesterday the plants and rock went in. I think it all looks really good and will look even better once the plants start to grow. 

We put some bamboo muhly grass along the fence. We had that in our old house and Gus loved chewing on it. This morning I caught him with his snout through the fence trying to eat some of the new grass. I guess we will have to get him some grasses for the backyard!
