Well, we've been away from blogging for several months now, but we are back and better than ever! That's because we've added a new team member to our Special Sibe Unit - Gus!
Gus joined our ranks from Polargold Siberians and Finnish Lapphunds. His official name is Polargold's Celestial Explorer. That's a fancy pants name, so we just call him Gus, after Virgil "Gus" Grissom, one of the original Mercury 7 astronauts and the second American in space. Here is a side-by-side comparison of human Gus and canine Gus. I'm sure you can see the resemblance.
Gus is twelve weeks old and joined our team on Saturday. We are all still getting used to each other. We like him better outside than we like him in our house, but we are getting used to having him around and are starting to want to play with him.
We are going to do our very best to blog regularly so that we have a complete file of Gus's adventures while he is growing up.
